Dear developers,

Recently, I installed latest version of LyX and found an unreasonable property
of the application. Namely, there is impossible to select different TeX font
encodings for different documents because the selecting of the variable
\font_encoding is only available in global preferences of the application but
not in the Language settings of the document (as it is expected). This is not
important for western-speaking community (english, german, french, etc) but is
crucial for people who use different TeX encodings in their documents. For
example, I use T1 TeX encoding for documents in English and T2A for cyrillic
ones. In this case, changing the global preferences of the application is not
useful for me and other people who write the documents in different languages.

Probably, it would be a good improvement of further LyX versions if it allow
one to set TeX encodings for each document like it is realized for input
encoding of the source.
