I'm not sure if you've already implemented these changes. If so, I don't see any effect and thought it worth reporting that.If not, well ... I'll just wait until you do. No hurry. BH
I've committed some changes in http://www.lyx.org/trac/changeset/33716. - No more Drawers, - ProgressView and SourceView are docked at the bottom, - SpellChecker, FindAndReplace and Outline are floating by default, but dockable. Please have a look whether it's better now. Vincent
