I propose to copy the old file to a renamed file with the .lyxrc16 suffix. That way the old configuration file will still be there. Sure if you go back you will need to rename the files manually but then no data is lost. Actually I propose to do this for all the configuration files. Since all the configuration files are small this should mean a small increase in disc space. -- José Abílio
