Tried no tricks; just cut and pasted "cvs diff ChangeLog" into the main
patch. Thanks for the --dry-run info.

Ahhhh. Emacs does insert tabs, but I sent the above "cvs diff" to the
terminal and cut and pasted that. I'll make sure I send it to file in future.
