* we write LyX for users, not for developers. If _really_ needed, we can put the read-only setting inside a DEVEL_VERSION block, but I do not like that * People writing documentations will find their work files in the recently opened files menu, or in their session file. * it is not possible anyway to open both the english version of the docs and the german version through the help menu. * I know no other application which present ability of editing its own docs as a feature :) JMarc
