Dear Sirs, Thanks for the *great* Lyx tool, which gradually becomes an indispensable tool for me! Would you please provide me information about some key features - or, at least, indicate the correct document to read ? - It seems there are types of documents simply not covered in Lyx. For example, trying to write a legal document (a contract or a signed piece of paper stating that I've received some merchandise), I discovered that I cannot: such a document is neither an "article", nor a "letter". Using the default "article" type, it's impossible to add a signature below (at least, using *just* the Lyx menu interface). The same will be true for a resumee or other type of document. - The "title" environment will fit OK when writing an academic paper, with title page. However, for many documents the title will be just a centered piece of (large, probably bolded) text, on the first page. Of course, you may add a standard text, centered and bolded, but this will negate Lyx's philosophy (I must do the typesetting myself). - Is there any way to put the date in other language's format ? And decide myself if a date will appear in my document or not ? - Is lyx present in recent RedHat distribution ? I'm using klyx from 6.2. Is there any difference ? I couldn't get lyx in .rpm format from main software sources (for RedHat distribution). - Under commercial text editors, especially in Windows, font's diversity is *huge*. Many people will use special formatted text (as logos) written in different .ttfs. Is it possible to use such font in Lyx? I mean, is there any *simple* method of enriching Lyx's collection of fonts and special symbols ? I think these answers will worth appearing in the FAQs - sorry for being innoportune.
