Hi all I've noticed the following bug in lyx 1.6.4 which is not very serious for working, but it is disturbing when one wants to play around with different user interfaces:
* If one changes the user interface in Tools > Preferences > user interface to classics.ui or any self-made ui using the Browse-button (!), the changes are not taken when pressing the "apply"-button. They become active only after pressing "save". * Instead if one changes the ui without the browse-button (writing the name manually), the "apply"-button works * However, if one happens to give a wrong name and presses Apply (producing the error message "Error while reading the configuration file <wrongname>. Falling back to default.") then the result is a doubled Menu (i.e. menus "File" to "Help" and then again "File" to "Help"). This is not too serious, because after pressing "save" (even with the same error message) things are fine again. - Sebastian
