What I like wrt Uwe's proposal is that it abstracts from any static markup (like the noun button does already), and thus maybe indicates a bit better that the emph button does not the same as the "I" button in Word or OOo. (In the long run, if we manage to finish semantic markup support, these things should go to a combo box anyway). Jürgen
