Sounds like the reincarnation of bug http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/6237.

Although in its second life it decided to occur when selecting downwards. Uwe, 
what happens when you press Shift+Down. Does the cursor go to the next line ? 
Probably not, it will go to the end of the same line, because the boundary is 
set wrongly. Is this hypothesis correct ?

I don't have LyX at hand right now (shame at me).

We should really make a web20-based-applet-ajax-hype type of lyx-version.
