Hi all
I repeatedly have the problem in lyx 1.6.4 that when I want to navigate
to a certain point in my equations which is close to some horizontal
space (like \quad), I click by chance the horizontal space and the
dialog opens.
In addition, when I leave the dialog, my cursor is still not at the
desired position, but simply remained where it was before, and I have to
click again, taking care that I don't "step on the mine" again.
This does not sound like a big problem, but for me it reduces the
comfort of navigating in the document a lot. (Similar to walking on a
sidewalk with a lot of dog-shit, where you have to take care of every
step and cannot enjoy the view around ;-) )
Please, is it possible to change the behavior such that the dialog for
horizontal space is opened only for a double-click? I think that this
would be the ideal solution.
Note finally that clicking on the horizontal space was in earlier
versions the best way to avoid ending up in some structure like \frac.
If I have within the equation something like $\quad\frac{a}{b}$ and I
want to put the cursor right in front of the \frac, it was formerly safe
to click somewhere on the right part of the \quad, while now this leads
to the above behavior. If I try to avoid this, I usually end up in the
nominator of the \frac and have to navigate back. Not a very big deal,
but if it happens all the time, it can be quite annoying.
Best, Sebastian
