this is the first bad thing: lyx shouldn't crash so often. i wouldn't accept editor which behaves in this way and developers here are willing to fix such problems. but for this we need to know when are those crashes produced - some kind of algorithm how this happens. if you are not able to find such recipy, you could try to give us at least backtrace - it may help us to catch the problem too. >After every crash, I get this series of recovery prompts.
