http://www.lyx.org/trac/wiki/BugTrackerHomelists that there are currently 11 bugs marked as milestone 1.6.5 that are fixed in trunk but not in branch. They should be backported soon to have enough time to eliminate appearing problems or regressions before LyX 1.6.5.
