Hi all
Last year, when still using the svn-version of lyx1.6, I was posting a
concern about the inability of accessing the menu entries in full screen
mode
(see the thread of May 15, 2008, 10:28 am,
http://n2.nabble.com/keep-menu-key-bindings-also-in-fullscreen-mode-td491005.html
)
At that time Abdel was so nice to provide a patch that solved the
problem and even entered the trunc of the program.
But recently I have decided to replace my svn version (1.6.0svn) by the
released version (1.6.1) (the newest backport to ubuntu 8.04 that I
could get), and it turned out that the old problem reappeared and menu
entries are not accessible from fullscreen any longer, not even if one
knows the key-combination, like <alt>-i-f to insert a footnote.
Was there a reason to remove the feture by Abdel? Could you include it
again? I find it really important, if the fullscreen mode is supposed to
be a fully functional environment.
Or is this problem already fixed in newer versions?
Thanks, Sebastian
