As time elapses, more and more of the features attached to the "search" component are likely to be implemented in the advanced F&R, but still be missing in the simple search facility.

As of now, this forbids closure of corresponding bugs (in a few of them there is the "as we'll keep using the simple search facility as I hope, this is not completely closed..."). IMHO, if a particular type of searching facility is available in the advanced F&R (i.e., searching in notes, searching in maths, searching with regexps, searching for styles, wrap options, scope options), then the feature should be considered as available to the user, and the bug closed. Otherwise, the trac tickets on the topic are going to become quickly useless for tracking down what needs to be down (for the F&R stuff). Duplicating tickets for the two cases does not seem to be appropriate either, nor it does duplicating functionality (IMHO).

What is the others' opinion on this ?
