No. Why do you think this might be needed?
I'll deliver MiKTeX 2.8 with the installer for LyX 1.6.5.
MiKTeX 2.8 provides many new features like that LaTeX-packages can be installed also by non-admin
users and that it can be used as portable application.
When I find the time, I'll try to build a portable LyX. (I don't know if this is possible because
LyX uses many other third-party programs that might not be ready for that.)
