These patches are for the development trunk (maybe they also cleanly apply to branch, don't know). You can apply the patch by saving it in the uppermost directory (above src), and run, e.g. patch -p0 < idx.diff You can revert the patches by patch -R -p0 < idx.diff Note that idx+a.diff and idx+b.diff both rely on idx.diff.
