Apparently development/cygwin/lyxeditor.c is compiled without the -mwindows argument. Consequently lyxeditor.exe opens in a console, which defeats the purpose of compiling lyxeditor.
I'm curious to see the revision for fixing this so I can learn how one tweaks these arguments. Thanks! -Ben
