thanks for nice summary, i was lost in previous reports.
is it "-g" switch which causes the problem? ie. dev-mode & --disable-
debug
(or even --disable-stdlib-debug -not sure about the correct spelling
of switches
now...) crashes or not.
A typical problem could be that a file is compiled without the disable-
stdlib-debug
#defines because of a missing #include <config.h>
