Hmm, although this has fixed the bug when selecting with the keyboard, LyX still occasionally unselects my MathInsets when I select them with the mouse. To reproduce on 64bit Ubuntu 9.04, create an empty math inset with Ctrl-m. Then whenever I try to select the Inset with the mouse, LyX unselects it. This bug does not occur on my 32bit Ubuntu 9.04 LyX VM. Both have been upgrade to libqt4 4.5.1-1ubuntu4 from Karmic. I have reported this *new* bug as: http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/6078
