I've put it in.
I would nevertheless get some feedback about the new table dialog layout. While I was adding the
buttons for the alignment I grouped the different features to groupboxes and adjusted the spacing.
Astonishingly, the code for the table alignment was already in our
source code, but without an UI connection.
This code was written by Vincent in fileformat change 346.
(The existing on-screen valignment bug
http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/6066 is not fixed by this patch.)
I failed to fix this today and won't have time to have a look further the next
days.
