It doesn't compile with uic 4.2.3 but compiles with later versions. The fix would have been simply removing the first line, i.e., the one that reads "<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>". For example, see http://www.lyx.org/trac/changeset/29860 -- Enrico
