I just noticed that I can no longer export to any PDF format. I therefore reconfigured LyX but
configure.py breaks at this check:
checking LaTeX configuration... default values
+checking list of textclasses...
Layout file C:/Program Files (x86)/LyX 1.6.3/bin/../Resources\layouts\manpage.layout has no
\DeclareXXClass line.

I think that is only a warning that should be squashed, but it doesn't find LaTeX. I investigated a
bit deeper and the reason is a broken "hyph-es.tex" file so that MiKTeX cannot built any format.
I'll report the problem to MiKTeX.
The problem is that many LyX users use MiKTeX too and we will get many bug reports due to this about
broken LyX installations when we release LyX 1.6.3 now. So I'll at least wait with a Windows'
release of 1.6.3 until this is fixed n MiKTeX (in case this takes more time).
