Anything wrong with joint distribution? I thought everyone agreed that, even though code integration was not in our mutual interest at this point, distribution in the same installer was to be encouraged. Linux distributions with sane package formats can just add a dependency or a suggestion, and users will be offered installation; so it is just natural that a Windows installer should include the package too. It will just make users lives easier in case they want to export to HTML. Why do you think it should be confusing? There is, by the way, an elyxer 0.23 Debian package in the works. The maintainer, Sven Hoexter (in cc) has been kind enough to publish an unofficial package for people to try out. Please find his message enclosed below. --- unofficial elyxer 0.23 Debian package --- Hi, it will take some time until it will finally hit the archive so I've decided to place pre-releases of the package on my site. These releases have a '~pre' version so you'll upgrade automatically to the official version once it hits the archive. The package should work without problems on all current Debian flavours starting with Lenny. Even *buntus and other forks & spin-offs with a Lenny like base should work. Enough said, here's the meat: Source package http://sven.stormbind.net/debian/elyxer-pre/elyxer_0.23-1~pre1.dsc Binary (arch:all) http://sven.stormbind.net/debian/elyxer-pre/elyxer_0.23-1~pre1_all.deb Sven -- forevermore --- end of Sven's message --- Thanks, Alex.
