Note that disabling a dodgy app is not sufficient, it must be uninstalled,
instead, because its hooks can still cause problems. So, I still believe
that inverse search malfunctioning is due to BLODA.

The fact that it works for me with any version, indicates that BLODA
is still the culprit.

Please, try *uninstalling* McAfee and try again.
