Could you please do something for Peter's account? Or just give me the
password to the svn server so that I can add him (and Georg!).
Please see my other post on the list regarding contacting me, and I'll
give people access to Trac and Subversion.
FWIW I still do not have access (that I know of).
Christian, are you able to setup new admin for JMarc to "our" machine
with the sudo access you have ? we have increased the number of devels
without committing rights to 4 and are probably most original software
project which repels even its own developers.
I know how to add a user in a Debian system, but the requirements are a
bit more complicated so I'll have to google a bit. Above all, I don't want
to screw anything up. If someone has pointers, please let me know. Here's
what I'll need to accomplish:
* Add the user (this is probably just done by 'adduser' or 'useradd')
(Jean-Marc, what username would you like?)
* Make it so that the user must login through a public key.
(Jean-Marc, in the mean time, could you create a key pair and send
me the public key - well, I think I'm to get the public key:-).
* Give the new account rights do do 'sudo', which involves adding
a password to the account, while not making it possible to login
through the password...
Jean-Marc, once I get to this step I'll give you a temporary password that
you can then change to something better. 'pwgen' is your friend when it
comes to coming up with good passwords.
So to conclude, there's some stuff I'll have to find out but I'm not
against doing it:-)
