I'm not nervous but our users will complain, at least Windows users who then think they need to reinstall LyX, uninstall their MiKTeX and things like that. I'm often fighting such things and want to avoid some extra work.
Besides this, when you read an announcement, you expect to get this feature, right? regards Uwe
