The standard installer downloads basic-miktex-2.7.3248.exe and the
bundled one includes basic-miktex-2.7.3248.exe.
Maybe the source in SVN still contains basic-miktex.2.7.2960.exe, but
when I build the installers I always include the latest version.

Maybe the problem is then the difference between the dash and the dot,
between miktex and 2?
If I look here, the 2960 version is the only one using a dot:
