I did encounter two difficulties while trying to export simple lyx-files.
When trying to export to opendocument and get an empty output. Lyx creates
the odt-file, but its empty.
When I try to export to html (MS Word) Lyx freezes.
I am on Lyx 1.6.2 (alt installer) on windows vista.
