I don't agree with this decision. The mentioned bug is surely critical, but no reason to wait any
longer with LyX 1.6.2. LyX 1.6.2 fixes so many crashes and I don't understand why people should
suffer from them any longer while we have a ready release.
The mentioned open crash is a special one - only a few users use branches and child documents
together, while the other crashes we fixed affect much more people.
So the decision to make is:
1. Should we wait until 1 missing crash is fixed that only affects a few users so that the majority
of the users suffer from the other about 10 fixed crashes from LyX 1.6.1 for some weeks?
2. Release LyX 1.6.2 now and the fix for the single crash when it is ready?
I vote for option 2.
