The whole embedding/bundling feature was postponed indefinitely due to discrepancies between developers. Because I have retired from the development of LyX, you will not see an embedding feature in LyX 2.0 unless some other developers step in and implement their ideas. Actually, it has surprised me that on one seems to be doing or even thinking about it, because there were so many wonderful ideas floating around during the embedding wars. Cheers, Bo
