This is a very short note. Primarily, I'd like to bring to your attention that we now have 9 (+2 unconfirmed) critical and 3 major bugs reported for branch, which is a lot, IMHO. As opposed to that, we already have an impressive list of fixes and feature enhancements in 1.6.2svn.
I am grateful for any attempt to address the major and critical issues. I think we could release LyX 1.6.2 if some of them (at least the crashes) were fixed. Jürgen
