This depends:

* if a feature is named differently in different classes, e.g. \phone vs.
\telephone vs. \tel, which one should win?

* if there is a name clash
with another class/package supported by LyX we must act.

* if a feature is ambiguosly named in the class or the name choice of the
package is "unfortunate", resorting to an established name might be
  better.

In the special case, we should remember that

* the term "labeling" for this variant of a description list is specific
  to the KOMA documentation

* "labeling" has a differnt meaning elsewhere.

* there are users with little or no exposition to scrgui*.pdf.

As both, "List" and "Labeling" are problematic, a third choice could
be an improvement.

If we came up with "the right choice", there would be no problem in
documenting "*** is named 'labeling' in the KOMA script classes".
(It would be not much different from "'phone' is called 'tel' in the
xxyletter class".)

But I really would like to leave the decision to a native speaker (or
alternatively to a poll).
