:-) I tried to do this step by step... and this mean real beep in my head :-) You have to have .layout file for siggraph class. There is an article on wiki.lyx.org, where simple solution is described for siggraph, but I think it could be not enough for you as I saw some siggraph specific elements inside class file. You need someone else help with creating .layout file as I do not have experience with that yet. Please excuse me. If siggraph is class for that event I have on my mind it would be nice to have layout in LyX by default for that class. It is large "meeting" of specialists from area of computer graphics.
