Thanks for the patch. Had this on my todo list for long time already...
Without having tested it, the patch looks good. One small thing: any
reason to call it POOL and not pool?

I investigated this one and cured it with the attached patch. The
patch
includes some fixes for compiler warnings in
src/support/linkback/LinkBack.m and the adjustment of the version
number of
lyx for cmake builds.
If there are no objections I'd like to put it in trunk.
