I talked to JMarc and now understand the problematic. It wasn't clear to me that the tarballs should include already ready installers. You sent an eimail that you tagged the release and I therefoer don"t had time to update the installer for the release, so that the tarball shippes the installer for LyX 1.5.6. To avoid this, please send an email 5 days before you tag the release in SVN and build the release tarball. Sorry for the trouble and regards Uwe
