By the way, I've tried to add 1.6.0 to
http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/ReleaseNotes but track says that there is no
1_6_0 tag... and the wiki is deadly slow...

No, it's just Jose copying & pasting things without verifying the
contents ;-)
Since 1.5.0 was released we've changed the backend of the web site,
so maybe the instructions need to reflect this. Where are the
instructions located?
