Hi,
such as it is the announce is too arcane and too long. We spend too
much time
saying what LyX is when in reality most (if not all) of the people that read
the announce already know what LyX is.
I am trimming the announce file and I would appreciate comments
regarding the
new lean version.
The purpose of changes is to follow the rules to make a newspaper
article.
Such as it was the announce would not appeal to a new user and for all the
other users most of the information is easily available elsewhere.
