Hello Peter,

thanks for your quick reply. I have a few points before putting this into the
tree, CCing this message to the dev-list.

1. I'm not sure whether we should include the introductory picture.
   Usually we ship the manuals without such screenshots. What do
   others developers think about it (Uwe?).

2. We need your permission - sending to the list something like
   "I hereby grant permission to license my contributions to LyX under the GNU
   General Public License, version 2 or later." will be enough.

For keeping track of the current version it is not neccessary to use svn. Just
before some revision/changes you plan, always get the last version of the
manual before - other developer might change something in between...
