Considering a how-much-appreciated feature this would be, and looking back at all what happened between 1.5.0 and 1.5.7svn:
You do not think this could make it into 1.6.x (with x>0) ??? There should be no file-format change involved, no? Just too excited about it to wait until 1.7, Konrad :)
