Well, I haven't heard that before.
This was what Bennet told me to get started - and it looks like it
is necessary.
It is also documented in the INSTALL.MacOSX file.
Btw should that file be updated? In particular should the tricks
needed to have LyX running on 10.3.9 and as a universal binary be
documented?
