Firefox: View -> Sidebar
OpenOffice Writer: Edit -> Naivigator (F5)
MS Word 2007: Affichage -> Structure du document (I guess Display ->
Document Structure in English).
More mainstream tu meurts...
Seems like there are as many options as there are mainstream programs...
But if common sense and good taste is worth something I'd say 'View ->
Navigator' is best.
