Since 1.7 is far away and there will be no embedding in 1.6:
Would there be any problem to make a
File -> Export -> Directory and/or
File -> Export -> ZIP
that basically contains the same as the tmp directory PLUS the .lyx file
(with all file references local)?
I would think this should be very intuitive from a user's perspective
(it is an Export, nothing said about embedding) and not very invasive in
terms of code (not much different to Export->Latex).
Purpose: archiving or transferring a complete document to another computer.
Do I oversee something?
