hi guys, before I had some troubles with running lyx from the network drive here. see this thread for details:
http://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-devel@lists.lyx.org/msg112416.html it had something to do with cmd.exe and UNC paths. now it turns out that the following: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/156276 (adding a registry key), fixes the problem for me. i was wondering the installer can take care of this? regards, edwin
