I have placed the first incantation of rc2 in http://www.lyx.org/~jamatos/lyx-1.6
The packages have the revision number used to generate them lyx-1.6.0rc2-svn26248.tar.bz2 FWIW the revision name only applies to the tar name not to the exploded directory name. Please test, if there are no significant problems when building the package I will make this the original release. The only other show stopper is a general data loss bug. Regards, -- José Abílio
