crash

1.6.0rc1  on linux/kubuntu:

It crashed, apparently with no reasons. 
On the terminal, i got:

+ 9678 illegal hardware instruction  lyx1.6

Any ideas?
Restarting lyx, any of the four open files has been retained in
the 'recently open  files' list.
