I was talking to Mike about a week or so ago (when I wrote the last "gdb
HOWTO") about getting this sort of thing in the FAQ. I'll update the
details in BUGS.lyx but also think we should have BUGS. Binary distro's
should include BUGS in the documentation. RPMs put stuff like BUGS in
/usr/doc/[packages/]lyx-x.x.x/ after all.
Sure we'll have 3 duplicate places for users to look but at least one of
them will be plain unadorned text and they can't say, "LyX wouldn't run so
I couldn't read BUGS.lyx." Besides, INSTALL already says to look at BUGS
or BUGS.lyx.
