hello :) the best is to fix things/bugs which annoy you working with lyx. http://www.lyx.org/GetInvolved for coding you can look here: http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/FeaturePoll or look into enhacnement requests in our bugzilla http://bugzilla.lyx.org/ there are zillion of opened bugs, so you can try to find something you know how to fix :) in all of the things above you will probably need to understand the code, which takes some time though. if you know some other lanugauge you can help with translation activity http://www.lyx.org/Translation current state here: http://www.lyx.org/I18n or you can subscribe to users lists and help other users :) being on devel list will show you also lot of things of need-to-fix problems. pavel
