having too many cross-reference in a big master document (with many small
child documents)
Displaying all cross-ref flat without any hierarchy (I suppose the purpose
of child document is to make handling large documents easy), looking for the
right crossref could be hard and time-consuming esp when you don't remember
the exact name of the label but only where it is structurally.
