Hi,
after considering all that happened and the feedback from the list I
have
decided to release a new beta 3 today. I do this because all the commits
after the beta 2 tagging had the purpose of fixing obvious bugs in beta 2.
This will be the last time I will follow this methodology. After beta 3
from
the moment a new release is changed in configure.ac we enter in mini-freeze
mode and only small fixes to show-stopping bugs are allowed. For this to be
effective the freeze should last no more than a couple of days.
I will the procedure for the release, so please hold further commits
until
further notice.
