We don't know whether it's a LyX bug or a Qt bug, do we? Is anyone 
with a debugger able to reproduce this issue?
I couldn't reproduce the issue. I suspect a clash between Qt versions. 
Does your installer installs Qt dlls in the same directory as lyx.exe 
and lyxlauncher.exe?
